Chutzpah With Blood In It
Original article by contributing author Dave Nogradi
Please welcome Dave Nogradi to The Zionist Press as a contributing author. In his first article, Dave highlights yet another absurd double standard applied to Jews. Most would agree that each minority group decides what is and is not racism or bigotry against that group. The ongoing anti-Semitism row with the UK Labour Party, though, reveals that many would deny this basic right to Jews and would have the chutzpah to tell Jews what should and should not offend them.
In Looking Back, We Must Look Ahead
Original Article By Brian Berman
In this article, I commemorate Yom HaShoah by reflecting on the Holocaust and why a strong Israel is more important than ever.
Only a strong, prosperous Israel turns "Never Again" from a mere slogan into a legitimate promise.

U.S. Military Tries "Roof Knocking"
We have heard much about Operation Protective Edge and other recent engagements by the Israeli military. A group of high ranking former commanders of several Western nations found that the IDF went above and beyond anything ever done in modern history to prevent civilian casualties. Despite this finding, the UN and several other countries continue to criticize the Israelis' conduct of war. Notably, this chorus has, at times, included the US, as Secretary of State John Kerry has often made snide remarks about Israel's military conduct. Lo and behold, it seems that the US has begun trying to emulate some of the Israeli tactics, including "roof knocking" to avoid civilian casualties.

The Arabs' Real Grievance against the Jews
In this opinion piece for The Gatestone Institute, Fred Maroun, an Arab in Canada, explain that the real problem the Arab world has against the Jews has nothing to do with the establishment of the State of Israel, the green line, occupation, etc. "The real Arab grievance against the Jews," Maroun argues, "is that they exist."
WATCH: Gazan Children’s Play Glorifying Terror Attacks
Our friends at Israellycool.com bring disturbing footage of a school play in Gaza. In it, small school children act out a play glorifying terrorism against Israelis. No knowledge of Arabic is necessary to see that the Israel-Palestine problem cannot be solved by political negotiations alone; rather, Palestinian society must stop weaving hatred of Jews into its child education.
Why Are Jews the Only Minority We Don’t Protect On College Campuses?
The level of ridiculousness at US colleges seems to be ever-increasing, from "safe spaces" to protecting speech by stifling speakers. A common theme across university campuses seems to be the targeting of Jews and Israel supporters. In this article, Michael Silver asks why Jews seem to be the only minority not worthy of the increased protections cropping up on campus.

U.S. State Department Ignoring Law Requiring Defunding Of UN Program
US Law requires Congress to defund any international organization that admits the "State of Palestine" as a member. Recently, the US cut off funding to UNESCO because it admitted Palestine. A UN climate change organization has just admitted the "State of Palestine" as a member. Unfortunately, the Obama administration seems keen on ignoring the law and refuses to defund the UNFCCC.
Lawfare Victory - Kuwait Airlines Shuts Down Inter-European Flights
The Lawfare Project, a group dedicated to fighting anti-Semitism and anti-Israel hate through legal means, scored a big victory against Kuwait Airlines. As part of the Arab League boycott of Israel, Kuwait airlines prohibits Israelis from flying on its flights. Through previous legal action, the airline was previously forced to halt flights between the US and Europe due to discrimination based on national origin. In this recent victory, the Lawfare Project filed suit in Europe and forced the airline to shut down its Europe operations as well.

Who Are Refugees?
This video from Prager University highlights an interesting question in Middle East Conflict discourse. You will often hear about the "refugee camps" of Palestinians through the Palestinian Territories and surrounding Arab countries. Some of these "refugees" are 3 or more generations out from anyone who actually lived in what is now Israel. What isn't discussed, however, is the fact that Israel is full of actual Jewish refugees who were forced out of Arab nations.

Miracle on Dan Bus #4
I think that, amidst all the troubling stories, it is important to include positive stories in the newsletter as well. This story is, in a word, incredible. It is the retelling of a 1951 reunion of a special kind in an unlikely setting, a bus in Tel Aviv. I cannot emphasize enough how much you should read this story.
